Job summary

SVA is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Real Estate team in Madison, WI. This role focuses on ownership and supervision of complex LIHTC engagements, mentoring staff, and expanding services to affordable housing clients.

Based in Wisconsin, the Senior Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, and client communications, while developing staff and driving process improvements to deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 9+ years of public accounting experience, with affordable housing/LIHTC focus.
• CPA certification required; deep knowledge of LIHTC, partnership taxation, and real estate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex LIHTC audits and engagements from planning through delivery.
• Monitor budgets, timelines and staffing; communicate with clients on status and results.
• Supervise and train staff; perform quality control reviews and performance evaluations.
• Develop staff and transfer client relationships to junior team members.
• Identify opportunities to expand affordable housing and LIHTC services across audit, tax and advisory.
• Prepare monthly billings and maintain client confidentiality.
