Legend Biotech USA Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, QC Microbiology based in Raritan, NJ.

You will lead the QC microbiology laboratory operations for cell therapy manufacturing, overseeing staff, data review, and method development in a cGMP environment. You will partner with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Compliance to drive investigations, training, and continuous improvement while managing budget and resources. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Biology or equivalent required.
• 12–14 years relevant experience; 3–5 years of leadership; aseptic manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with quality systems and cGMP regulations.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and data interpretation skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee QC microbiology laboratory operations and staff performance.
• Review and approve laboratory test data and investigations.
• Develop and implement microbiology procedures and methods.
• Manage budget, staffing, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for audits.
• Monitor method performance and support root cause analyses.
