Senior Manager, Product Management

TheSr. Mgr, Portfolio Lead for Data Connectivity Global Differentialwill be responsible for the product portfolio of Differential Data Connectivity products within Automotive globally. Other responsibilities include: revenue, standard cost, driving growth, OI, product portfolio management, resource allocation, and product definition with key applications for the Data Connectivity Differential product line.

The person hired for this role will partner closely with the regional Data Connectivity Product Management leaders and teams as well as key stakeholders. Also, will work cross-functionally with regional and global leaders from Sales, Operations, Project and Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing and Product Engineering.

The role will focus on two (2) main areas:

"hands-on" execution drive (go-to-market and margin improvements)

Key Tasks

• Strategic Portfolio Management for the global Data Connectivity Differential product portfolio by understanding the various regional customer requirements and aligning the different regional organizations on a single Differential Portfolio Strategy
• Foster best practice sharing between regions enabling successful margin improvements and revenue growth
• Support of regional project execution with a focus on cross-regional and large strategic projects
• Build culture of continuous improvement, which leverages best practice processes and metrics to drive year-over-year improvements by partnering with operations including optimization of global manufacturing footprints as well as driving product management excellence
• Driving the coordination of go-to-market strategies and cross-regional activities
• Gaining market share with data connectivity differential products

Required experience

• >10 years of overall experience
• >5 years of experience in Product Management in the Automotive industry (Automotive Connectors, experience in Data Connectivity Products strictly preferred).
• > 4 years technical or business degree required
• Proven commercial and leadership track record to drive regional/global market share gains, including sales, operations, and engineering teams
• Strong experience with customer exposure at the senior executive level in a fast paced and changing environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven financial acumen in evaluating project and program financials
• Demonstrated Experience successfully scaling newly launched product portfolios.
