Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Development for the Pet Team to drive initiatives from concept to lifecycle. You will oversee dry, wet, and fresh dog/cat foods, set specifications, benchmark markets, and track performance to meet financial goals in a dynamic retail setting.

You will coordinate with Merchandising, Sourcing, QA, and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality and effective project management, while leading continuous improvement and strong stakeholder

Qualifikationen

Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Product Development on the Pet Team, leads cross-functional collaboration to drive product initiatives from concept through lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with business strategies and quality standards. This role involves managing development activities for dry, wet, and fresh food for dogs and cats. The position requires strategic oversight of product specifications, market benchmarking, and performance tracking to support financial goals. The role also works with multiple cross functional teams, fosters effective communication, and implements continuous improvements to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction within a dynamic retail environment.

About the team

The Product Development team shapes the strategy for Walmart Brands across all pet product categories, from food to toys. They create the vision and products that support customers and their pets, collaborating closely with Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, and external suppliers. The team drives product initiatives aligned with business goals, ensuring timely delivery and quality through effective project and portfolio management. By leveraging cross-functional communication and industry insights, they bring innovative products to market that uphold Walmart’s commitment to value and customer satisfaction.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications
