Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager in the United States who will independently lead cross-functional teams to strategically select products and suppliers at competitive prices. You will draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts while reducing costs and mitigating risk.

Hybrid schedule; you will partner with internal stakeholders, manage supplier performance, and develop category plans, delivering strategic buys that align with Spectrum's goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience - 5+ years.
• Electronic procurement and or contract solutions experience - 1-3 years.
• Direct industry or company experience - 2 years.
• Proven ability to manage and influence all phases of change management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the P2P process.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements without guidance.
• Demonstrating project management expertise with the ability to carry projects from strategic planning through implementation.
• Lead cross functional teams to develop meaningful requirements to ensure quality responses from suppliers.
• Researching and developing adequate sources of supply.
• Utilizing supply market knowledge to leverage best strategy for Charter.
• Leading cross functional supplier selection activities through management of formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes.
• Evaluating the financial stability of potential suppliers.
• Performing required business analysis with a strategic focus on total cost of ownership.
• Providing fact-based recommendations to executive level management for constructing the best overall strategic buy decisions.
• Continuously seeking out cost savings opportunities and leading efforts to realize the savings.
• Managing overall supplier performance using Strategic Relationship Management tool set - including acting as an escalation point in the event of non-performance.
• Independently developing a strategic category plan based on an understanding of business goals and objectives, the supply market and benchmarking.
• Effectively documenting, communicating and gaining buy-in across the organization to ensure alignment.
• Managing stakeholder groups through technology adoption.
• Working beyond the traditional procurement metrics to achieve operational and technical improvements to the business process.

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
