Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
  • Prefers three (3) years of professional experience administering federal grants.
  • Prefers three (3) years of professional experience supervising staff.

Responsibilities

  • Under general direction, serves as the Preparedness Grant Programs Section Manager for IEMA-OHS.
  • Serves as a full line supervisor.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains the programs utilized by the Preparedness Grant Programs Section.
  • Manages federal and state grant program requirements for timely reporting.
  • Plans and confers with agency management for external and internal program reviews.
