  • Three years of professional experience with FEMA grant requirements and federal reporting.
  • Three years of professional experience supervising staff.

Job description

The Preparedness Grant Programs Section Manager serves as a full-line supervisor for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS), administering and managing state and federal preparedness grant programs. The role involves developing and implementing grant programs, managing federal and state requirements, ensuring timely submission of reports, and coordinating with agency management on program reviews. The position is based in Springfield, Illinois with a hybrid work schedule of 2-5 days per week in office.
