Job summary

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions in Newport, DE is seeking a Senior Manager - Plant Engineering & Maintenance to lead process control, capital projects, and site reliability for a 24/7 operation. You will direct a multidisciplinary team, oversee capital project delivery, and champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of engineering and maintenance leadership experience within an industrial manufacturing or chemical processing environment.
5+ years of direct management experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams (engineers, project managers, and maintenance leaders).
Valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Lead site engineering operations across automation, control systems, and process instrumentation to ensure system integration and modernization.
Direct capital project execution from scoping to commissioning with cost estimation and MOC processes.
Oversee maintenance and asset reliability through KPI tracking, PM/CM optimization, and training of staff.
Ensure compliance with safety, IMS, and quality systems while managing a 24/7 operation.
