Responsibilities

• Manage PRs and convert to POs in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules and NPI.
• Coordinate with logistics for inbound deliveries and customs clearance (if applicable).
• Resolve delivery delays, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities via value engineering and supplier consolidation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Planning to understand material requirements.
• Support root cause analysis with suppliers.
• Participate in NPI projects for sourcing new components.

Job Description

• Experience in working with Sourcing and procurement Domain
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for mechanical, electrical, electronics, and structural components used in elevator systems.
• Manage purchase requisitions (PR) and convert them into purchase orders (PO) in the ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules and new product development.
• Coordinate with logistics for inbound deliveries and customs clearance (if applicable).
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, part shortages, and discrepancies.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and localization initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering for alternative material or supplier development.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to understand material requirements.
• Address quality issues and support root cause analysis with suppliers.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) projects for sourcing new components.

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate is preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, casting, electronics).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).
• Knowledge of Should Costing, cost breakdown analysis, and supplier audits.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$55,000 to $65,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.

Los Angeles, California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania‑based candidates are not eligible for this role.
