Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence to act as the strategic Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Manufacturing in Faribault, MN. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage KPIs, drive Lean and continuous improvement, and develop exec-level communications to enable on-time, cost-effective delivery.

This role requires a bachelor's degree, 6–8 years in operations, and a track record leading teams; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in Operations or a related field.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience.
• Familiar with Kaizen improvement processes and the Toyota Production System.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor and extension of the VP of Manufacturing, translating priorities into actionable plans.
• Lead and manage manufacturing cadences and KPIs with data-driven decision making.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and remove barriers to accelerate execution.
• Develop executive-level communications and updates for stakeholders.
• Build relationships across functions to drive collaboration and shared ownership of performance.
