Job Summary:

The Manager of Reporting & Data Visualization will lead the development and implementation of supply chain reporting and data visualization strategies within the organization. This role involves leveraging data analytics and visualization techniques to provide actionable insights, improve decision-making, and drive supply chain business performance. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, IT, and business teams to develop, execute, and measure data-driven strategies that enhance the ability to drive profitable sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Reporting Infrastructure: Oversee the strategy, design, development, and architecture of the reporting infrastructure to ensure robust and scalable, self-service focused solutions.
2. Promote Data-Driven Decision Making: Advocate for the use of data, reporting, and visualization to drive key business, digital, and technology decisions.
3. Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Influence the direction of key business partners (IT, operational groups, business units, vendors, etc.) to develop and execute data-driven reporting strategies.
4. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME): Lead all initiatives related to reporting and data visualization, including data ingestion, governance, management, and analytics.
5. Enhance Operational Efficiency: Lead analytics initiatives to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels through effective reporting.
6. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve business processes using advanced analytics and data visualization.
7. Data Governance: Develop rules for managing data governance, sharing, reporting, privacy, and security.
8. Process Improvement: Work with business and IT partners to improve business processes and automate reporting functions.
9. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of data analysts and visualization experts to develop and implement data-driven solutions for reporting optimization.
10. Analyze Large Datasets: Uncover trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets to inform strategic decisions.
11. Present Findings: Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
12. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data visualization, analytics, and business intelligence.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in data analytics and visualization, with 5+ years leading a team, preferably within a business intelligence or reporting domain.
3. Technical Skills: Strong technical and business skills in data strategy, reporting systems, and data infrastructure development.
4. Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
5. Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
6. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency: High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
9. Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle, SAP).
