Job Title: Senior Manager, Data & Analytics

Location: Remote in the US

Company Overview

This vertically integrated direct-to-consumer brand is looking to hire its initial data leader.

The Opportunity

As our Senior Manager of Data & Analytics, you’ll be the strategic and hands-on leader responsible for architecting and scaling our data systems and analytics function. You’ll lead a small but growing team (initially 1–2 ICs) and collaborate across Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to drive insight, automation, and growth.

You should bring experience building modern data stacks at similarly sized and structured companies—ideally vertically integrated D2C consumer product brands—and thrive in an environment where you’re given ownership, speed, and the freedom to innovate.

What You’ll Do

• Build the company’s data function from the ground up, including pipelines, dashboards, and analytics frameworks
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure using tools like Fivetran/dbt/Looker/Omni
• Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Execs to develop insights that drive real customer value and business decisions
• Own reporting and performance analytics across digital marketing (Google Ads, etc.), fulfillment, and customer behavior
• Hire, mentor, and manage a growing analytics team (starting with 1–2 direct reports)
• Ensure data quality, accessibility, and usability across the organization
• Travel regularly to company headquarters in the Midwest

• You’ve built or scaled data infrastructure at a high-growth, vertically integrated D2C company
• You combine technical skills with strong business acumen, always focused on the end customer’s happiness
• You thrive in zero-to-one environments where speed, adaptability, and ownership are crucial
• You're a strong communicator with the ability to make data accessible across all levels of the organization

Preferred Technical Skills

• Fivetran, dbt, Looker or Omni
• Experience with ETL pipelines and data modeling
• Familiarity with digital ad platforms and performance marketing metrics (e.g., Google Ads)
• Comfort working with both structured and unstructured data sources

Compensation:

200-265k (depending on experience and final decided leveling) + bonus
