Netflix, Inc. is seeking a seasoned communications leader to manage nonfiction series and standup communications. You will guide end-to-end strategy, craft compelling narratives, and drive executive visibility across a demanding slate of documentary, reality, and standup titles.

You will pitch and secure opportunities across diverse media, build multi-title narratives, and partner with production, marketing, and legal teams to manage risk and shape the public conversation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in communications at an agency, studio, or network, ideally within entertainment or media.
• Proven track record leading proactive and reactive communications strategy for nonfiction series, standup, or premium content.
• Demonstrated success building multi-title narratives that tie to broader cultural or industry storylines.
• Deep, established relationships across trade, business, entertainment, consumer, and new media.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end communications strategy for nonfiction series and standup specials, from development to launch and beyond.
• Personally pitch and secure coverage across trade, business, and entertainment media.
• Develop slate narratives that connect individual titles to broader cultural conversations.
• Craft brand narratives and pitches that cut through the cultural noise and identify non-traditional angles.
• Partner with creative, production, marketing, and legal teams to shape long-term strategy and provide counsel.
• Identify and manage brand and communications risks, including sensitive situations.
