Job summary

Netflix is seeking a Manager, Scripted Series Communications in Los Angeles to lead the full 360-degree communications cycle for our scripted portfolio.

You will develop strategy, pitch press, and partner with creative executives to shape narratives that connect titles to culture, while steering risk and coordinating talent interviews. The role reports to the Director, Communications and is a key collaborator across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in communications at an agency, studio, or network.
• Proven track record leading proactive and reactive communications strategy for scripted television or premium content.
• Demonstrated success building multi-title slate narratives that tie to broader cultural, economic, or industry storylines.
• Deep, established relationships across trade, business, entertainment, consumer, and media with proven pitching ability.
• Strong storytelling, written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end communications strategy from development through launch and beyond.
• Pitch and secure coverage across trade, business, and entertainment media.
• Develop cross-title narratives connecting titles to broader cultural conversations.
• Craft brand narratives and identify non-traditional story angles via social and fandom.
• Collaborate with creative, production, marketing, and legal teams.
• Identify and manage brand risks with sound judgment under pressure.
• Coordinate executive, creator, and talent interviews and press opportunities.
