Freddie Mac in McLean, VA, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Multifamily Portfolio Analytics & Strategy (MPAS) team. You will partner with Multifamily leadership to shape business strategy through market dynamics, portfolio risk, and profitability, and deliver actionable insights.

You will guide risk‑return reviews, manage a high‑performing analytics team, and collaborate across Production, Underwriting, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Finance, and Enterprise Risk to strengthen

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in portfolio risk management or strategic analytics.
10+ years of related financial industry or consulting experience.
2+ years of people management experience (4+ preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior consulting or Multifamily/Commercial Real Estate experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead Multifamily's portfolio risk‑return review process and provide insights to leadership.
Develop analytics to support profitability, capital efficiency and risk‑adjusted returns.
Serve as delegate for DRO responsibilities including DFAST, ERCF forecasting, and risk governance.
Build and lead a high‑performing team of analysts with a focus on rigor and collaboration.
Communicate complex findings to executives and governance committees clearly.
Drive improvements in analytical frameworks and reporting tools for integrated risk management.
