Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager Multicultural Marketing will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution behind THD's Multicultural Marketing initiatives. This person will be responsible for leading a team that designs audience-based marketing strategies designed around growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Work cross-functionally w/key stakeholders (e.g., Customer Insights, Marketing Analytics, HD.com, Merchandising, Marketing, PR, & Social). Responsible for effectively driving education & partnerships internally/externally in organization.
- 40% Program Mgmt -Design/execute audience-marketing strategy for Agile campaigns (developing hypothesis, data strategy; creative strategy, activation and reporting activities. Strategic recommendations to scale Agile Marketing, integration into business priorities; share knowledge w/ stakeholders. Direct external agency team.
- 30% Reporting/Metrics -Ensure programs delivered on-time/ budget & determine effectiveness of Agile spend/ resource. Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring impact of audience-marketing programs, & analyze effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results. Build weekly status reports and executive-level presentations as needed.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This role reports to the Director of Marketing
- This position has 2 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and MS Office
- Ability to understand the basics of technology associated with social media, customer communications, online marketing and eBusiness - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to think and respond quickly maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail Marketing experience
- Data analytics experiences
- Programmatic buying, audience-centered marketing experience is a plus

Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
