About the Role:
In preparation for the 25th anniversary of 9/11 next year, 9/11 Day is seeking an experienced and proven fundraising and development professional to join our growing Partnerships team at the manager or associate director level (depending on experience).
This full-time remote position requires a minimum of five years of experience in fundraising and working with national program sponsors to support their engagement. Responsibilities include managing and growing the relationships with 9/11 Day’s current sponsors and donors, and also helping to secure new sponsors to support our programs.
Candidates must enjoy and excel in a very fast-paced environment. Essential skills include preparing and delivering persuasive presentations, writing grants, developing donor correspondence, and creatively and strategically supporting sponsor program engagement.

Our mission is to inspire millions of Americans to rekindle the remarkable spirit of unity and compassion that emerged after 9/11, and to perform good deeds and acts of service in tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, first responders, and members of the military who bravely rose in service in response to the attacks.
