Job summary

Americares is seeking a Senior Manager, Medicine Security Programs – US to lead strategic initiatives ensuring access to medicines for uninsured and underinsured populations in the US. The role collaborates with US clinic partners to optimize gift-in-kind donations and strengthen partner capacity.

The role requires extensive program management experience, data-informed decision making, and strong leadership to drive cross-functional implementation and sustain impact across the US Medicines

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading program management or related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into implementation plans with clear goals, timelines, roles, and success metrics.
• Experience leading multi-year health-related initiatives, preferably in medicine access.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and formalize partnerships with external organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and day-to-day execution of the Medicine Security Program strategy across the US Medicines Security portfolio.
• Oversee portfolio-wide special projects or initiatives to enhance sustainable medicine access and health outcomes in the US.
• Develop a robust partner ecosystem by identifying and cultivating prospective new clinic partners to expand the US partner network.
