Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading engineering teams in medical devices.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and product safety.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop R&D staff and subcontractors.
• Lead and foster an innovative culture within R&D aligned with Abbott values.
• Set objectives for direct reports and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, clinical affairs, quality, and operations.
• Oversee lifecycle management from ideation to sustaining products.
• Present to senior management and cross-functional teams.
