Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years related work experience with a strong understanding of medical device.
• Experience with CAD.

• Will perform this job in a quality system environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new concepts from initial design to market release.
• Develop processes to transform concepts into commercial devices.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout all phases of R&D.
• Conduct feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality.
• Write and submit intellectual property (patents).
• Investigate and evaluate existing technologies.
• Review or coordinate vendor activities to support development.
