Entegris, Inc. in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Senior Manager, Materials Management to lead material flow from suppliers through order fulfillment.

You will develop production schedules, manage a seven-person team of planners and warehouse staff, and partner with Global Supply Chain. The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires a Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, or SCM plus 7+ years of materials management experience with SAP and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years materials management experience including planning or supply chain management.
• Experience leading a team with development/coaching.
• Experience supporting a global operational footprint.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain material control policies and systems.
• Manage a team of seven direct reports including warehouse and shipping supervisors and production planners.
• Ensure materials are planned to company and customer requirements while maintaining inventory levels.
• Develop production schedules and coordinate material movement to support manufacturing.
• Prepare material requirement plans using ERP systems and assist with production control system improvements.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain to ensure robust supplier and supply chain strategies.
• Support demand management processes through analysis and recommendations.
• Implement lean approaches to materials management including capacity models and lead time strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business process improvements.
• Identify warehousing and scheduling improvements to increase delivery, lead time, and cost efficiency.
• Create development plans for materials management team members and ensure talent pipeline.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and BU to optimize inventory levels for premier service.
