You will own the marketplace and partnerships growth engine from end to end, including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating with, onboarding, and launching partners.

The partner ecosystem includes three primary categories:

  • Application partners: Vendors that build applications on the organization’s platform.
  • Integration partners: Partners that connect their products through APIs.
  • Solution partners: Providers of DPC-adjacent services, such as marketing, legal, and accounting support.

Employment Type: Full Time

Department: Marketing

Compensation: $105,000 - $161,000 per year

What You’ll Do
  • Source and recruit strategic marketplace partners.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized list of prospective partners.
  • Conduct outbound outreach to decision-makers.
  • Develop a clear perspective on which partner categories create the most marketplace value.
  • Manage inbound partner interest by triaging inquiries, conducting discovery conversations, evaluating fit, and communicating clear decisions to proceed, pause, or decline.
  • Determine the right partnership path for each organization, including application, integration, or solution partnerships.
  • Guide prospective partners through the technical and commercial implications of each partnership model.
  • Bring in Product or Engineering stakeholders when technical input is needed.
  • Lead negotiations and close partner agreements.
  • Manage discussions related to pricing and revenue models, including revenue sharing, transaction fees, subscriptions, and referral arrangements.
  • Define launch-readiness criteria for each partner.
  • Lead partner onboarding and launches.
  • Coordinate cross-functional readiness across Product, Support, Marketing, and go-to-market teams.
  • For technical partners, align stakeholders on scope, milestones, and rollout plans from beta or staging environments through production.
  • Build repeatable partnership processes, including standard operating procedures, playbooks, and lightweight reporting.
  • Create visibility into partnership activity and program performance for leadership.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketplace partnerships, platform partnerships, strategic partnerships, business development, sales engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working at the intersection of product teams and customers is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate credibly about APIs, integrations, and product systems.
  • Coding experience is not required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated record of closing partnership or platform agreements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create structure, documentation, and repeatable processes while building a program.
  • Healthcare or health-tech experience is preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS marketplaces, platform ecosystems, or adjacent regulated industries, such as fintech, is also relevant.
Nice to Have
  • Experience managing API or integration partnerships from staging or beta environments through production.
  • Familiarity with Direct Primary Care or primary care workflows.
  • Experience building a partner program from the ground up.
  • Experience using AI tools to create or improve business processes.
  • Competitive base salary and stock options.
  • Progressive paid parental leave for both parents.
  • Home office stipend.
  • Optional in-person meetups.
  • Flexible vacation policy.
  • Paid national holidays.
  • 401(k) plan.
