Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Senior Manager, IT – Marketing Technology to lead a cross-functional technology delivery team focused on Marketing IT projects. You will plan, develop, implement and support Marketing Technology solutions while partnering with IT, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams.

The role requires 10+ years of IT leadership, 5+ years in Marketing Tech, and strong vendor/SI management experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5+ years in Marketing Technology and Retail IT.
• Proven track record of implementing complex, cross-functional MarTech implementations.
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance practices.
• Demonstrated people leadership skills and experience. Manage a team with up to 5 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Marketing IT delivery team (Project Manager, Technical Lead, Business Analyst, and supporting resources).
• Engage with business users to identify and finalize functional and non-functional requirements.
• Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and reporting; deliver Marketing projects on time and within budget.
• Lead governance meetings with metrics and reporting for program execution.
• Manage vendor relationships; support RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.
• Lead solution design and ensure quality, compliance, and customer privacy.
• Oversee SDLC processes to ensure requirements are met and teams execute efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI/GenAI for marketing and drive pilots.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
