The position requires 10–15 years in IT with strong leadership and architecture expertise, and can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years IT experience in solution architecture and software development.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in developing cloud-native, custom apps with modern, event-driven microservices and Angular/Spring.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; advanced degrees or Azure cert preferred.
• Expertise in software architecture and scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering and architectural expertise in cloud-native, event-driven microservice architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor architects and ensure adherence to architecture principles and best practices.
• Lead and drive Agile/Iterative development with high-quality outcomes.
• Identify and remove systemic obstacles to improve delivery of software.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to influence architectural decisions.
