Job summary

Major League Baseball (MLB) is seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing to drive MiLB initiatives, brand integration, and national programming. You will lead data-driven insights, oversee media strategy, and guide Copa de la Diversion and multicultural initiatives across the MiLB ecosystem.

You will collaborate with MLB strategy, marketing, and external partners while managing cross-functional teams to optimize revenue and fan engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years in mid-to-senior level marketing roles; sports/entertainment experience a plus.
  • Hispanic/Latino and multicultural marketing experience preferred; bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and driving structure where none existed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the integration of the MiLB brand across League assets and communications.
  • Lead Brand Insights for MiLB; translate fan data into actionable insights.
  • Advance Performance Media strategy and manage national/local programs.
  • Lead Copa de la Diversion Hispanic program and multicultural engagement initiatives.

Reporting to our Vice President of MiLB Marketing, you’ll be the driving force behind MiLB’s expanding suite of national programming, commercial activation, and fan engagement efforts.**Responsibilities*** Support the integration of the MiLB brand across all League assets, departments, and communications as needed* Lead Brand Insights for MiLB, partnering with MLB Strategy, Marketing, and external partners to translate fan data into actionable insights* Advance our Performance Media strategy and own project management of all national and localized media programs* Assume strategic leadership of our Copa de la Diversion Hispanic program and additional community engagement and multicultural platforms, including an audit of impact to-date and identification of opportunities for expansion and/or refinement* Serve as a thought leader and consultant for MiLB clubs by identifying and proactively communicating marketing best practices and standards that can be deployed locally* Support the Vice President, Marketing in identification and expansion of commercial opportunities across MiLB* Coordinate with MLB Special Events on MiLB representation at Jewel Events* Collaborate cross functionally with groups including MiLB Club Services, Business Operations, Ticketing, Events, Partnerships, and Design on League-wide initiatives* Drive the Business: You will take action against strategic priorities for the MiLB Marketing department, readjusting as business demands change.
