SeniorManager, Market Strategy
What You’ll Do
Leveraging your knowledge of the oncology marketplaceto trackemerging news and trends,you will provide our clients with actionable insights and implications to advance their portfolios. This will includethedevelopment of strategies for tumor and portfolio prioritizationin highly competitive and dynamic markets.In partnership with your StrategicServices colleagues,you will also be responsible for developing and carrying out initiatives that drive market knowledgeand inform business developmentacrossVaniam Group.

Deliverables
  • You will closely monitor any changes in the market landscape (e.g., relevant news alerts, clinical trial initiations/updates). As appropriate, proactively communicate changes to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting potential business or commercial implications
  • You will be responsible for conducting landscape assessments and synthesizing information about a given competitive therapeutic space focusing on existing and emerging market factors
Client Responsibility
  • You will propose innovative solutions to address client needs and translate insights into implications and strategic recommendations for early asset development and pipeline strategies
  • You will employ your strong communication skills to foster successful professional interactions with external thought leaders,clientsand our internal teams
Business Development
  • You will utilize your market knowledge and therapeutic area expertise to support internal business needs and business development activities
Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverablesand support client business objectiveswithin this role.
What YouMustHave
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum oftwo yearsofoncologywork experience in pharmaceutical strategic planning/healthcareconsulting
  • Goodworking knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech industries
  • Fluency in MS PowerPoint and an ability to prioritize, analyze, and synthesize clinical, financial, and other relevant data into succinct presentations aligned to business objectives
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing

  • Ability to evaluate and extract relevant data from primary and secondary resources
  • Ability to solve complex challenges and unlock opportunities
  • Ability to quickly develop expertise in new therapeutic areas

Travel Requirements
Ability to travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project,clientand organizational needs (<25% travel expected)
