Veeco is looking for a Manufacturing Operationsleaderwhobrings strongexecution, cross-functional partnership,andhands-onleadershipto support our IBD300 product line.In this role, you’ll leadthemanufacturing organization responsible forbuilding, testing, anddeliveringthe IBD300 product line, partnering closelywithProduct Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality,andService to meet customer commitmentsandbusiness objectives.The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations– IBD300 Product Line,reportstothe Sr. VP, Global Operations, and serves as a key member of theoperationsteam.This position requires a manufacturing leader with experience in bringing complex capital equipment to market in a high-mix/low-volume environment. The responsibilities include production, manufacturing engineering, planning, quality execution, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering,Operations Management, New Product Introduction, or a related disciplineand a minimum of 7 years ofprogressive manufacturing operations leadershipexperience, includingleadershipof production teams in a complex manufacturing environment,is required.Experience in bringing a new product to market is strongly preferred. High-mix, low-volume capital equipment manufacturing experience, including large-scale systemswithcomplex bills of material, is required. Experience withLeanmanufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Concurrent engineering, Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and production quality management is also required.
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000-$167,000, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
