Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Manager, Major Projects to lead planning and execution of complex energy infrastructure projects. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk, and align projects with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering/construction, a related degree, and the ability to travel ~40% across the U.S. and Canada; internal title is Manager Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, construction, planning, scheduling, and cost control of pipeline or energy industry projects, including progressive managerial experience.
• Operations experience is valued but not required.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership by translating organizational objectives into project priorities and aligning activities across internal teams, external partners, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Lead Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams responsible for engineering, procurement, permitting, rights-of-way, construction, commissioning, project controls, and overall project execution.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risk to ensure complex capital projects are effectively planned, monitored, controlled, and delivered.
• Direct the development of project strategies, capital cost estimates, execution plans, resource requirements, and innovative solutions that align with business and operational priorities.
• Ensure projects comply with regulatory, environmental, health, safety, legal, and quality requirements while maintaining relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
• Coach and motivate employees, manage performance and succession planning, evaluate consultants and contractors, and champion continuous improvement.
