Amgen is seeking a Local Study Operations Line Sr. Manager to lead LSOM skill development and ensure high-quality trial execution within the country.

You will align delivery with global R&D goals, manage timelines and budgets, and collaborate closely with country and study strategy teams to optimize portfolio performance. The role requires strong leadership, 2+ years of people management, and experience overseeing multiple clinical trials and vendors.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of clinical execution experience OR
• Master's degree & 6 years of clinical execution experience OR
• Bachelor's degree & 8 years of clinical execution experience OR
• Associate's degree & 10 years of clinical execution experience OR
• High school diploma / GED & 12 years of clinical execution experience

Responsibilities

• Lead LSOM skill development and oversee country study portfolio delivery.
• Ensure timely study implementation aligned with global strategies and budgets.
• Monitor portfolio, assess risk and quality, and support issue escalation.
• Manage LSOM/vendor performance; act as primary escalation point for local challenges.
• Mentor LSOMs; build a high‑performing team and promote cross‑functional collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement and resource allocation across LSOMs to meet targets.
