The Senior Manager will launch and grow the Lighthouse Collaborative at J-PAL, collaborating with Lighthouse organizations, governments, funders, academic partners, and MIT to scale proven social innovations through government systems.

Preferred location is Cambridge, MA at MIT with in-person days; candidates in NYC or SF may be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available. Strong leadership, fundraising, and policy-engagement skills are essential for driving impact globally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience launching or scaling social ventures.
• Experience working with governments, funders, or multilateral institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead government partnerships and pilots to scale impact.
• Develop and execute the fundraising strategy for the Collaborative.
• Support Lighthouse organizations with strategic guidance and capacity building.
• Build partnerships with policy and business schools to recruit talent.
• Recruit, manage, and develop the Lighthouse team.
• Grow the Lighthouse Collaborative to scale through public systems.
