J-PAL Global in Cambridge, MA invites a senior leader to direct its Policy and Communications Group. The Director will translate research into policy impact, shape strategy, and coordinate with seven regional offices worldwide.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the role oversees a 40-person policy team and a 5-person communications unit, guiding fundraising, partnerships with governments, NGOs, and foundations, and advancing evidence-informed development policy.

Formación

• Background in international development policy and economics that informs policy lessons.
• Advanced degree in economics or public policy required or strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of work experience in public policy, development, and economics with leadership experience.
• Experience engaging senior government and multilateral partners.

Responsabilidades

• Policy leadership, strategy, and planning for global impact.
• Direct supervision of Policy Group and communications team.
• Manage outreach to governments, NGOs, foundations, and multilateral agencies.
• Oversee cost effectiveness analysis and research-to-policy translation.
