Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Legislative Affairs organization seeks a Manager, Outreach and Advocacy 1 to lead third-party engagements and implement its advocacy strategies. The role coordinates internal company parties to support advocacy efforts and collaborates with suppliers, third-party organizations, and other external stakeholders.

The position is located in Falls Church, VA with the ability to work from the Washington, D.C. Capitol Hill office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline and at least 8 years in government relations or advocacy activities, or Master's with at least 6 years.
• Excellent written and oral communications, able to synthesize key messages quickly.
• Experience executing advocacy strategy and collaborating across teams while meeting objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships related to aerospace/defense or political affairs.
• Experience communicating with federal leaders and decision-makers.
• Strong data handling and using content to support email campaigns.
