Job summary

The role drives messaging, coordinates external communications, and aligns with the company’s priorities across stakeholder engagement. You will manage a team, leverage AI-enabled storytelling, and oversee tools for outreach and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in related work.
• Master’s degree with 8+ years.
• Associate’s degree with 12+ years.
• High School Diploma with 14+ years.
• 7+ years in public affairs, media strategy, media operations, or strategic communications, defense preferred.
• Solid understanding of government relations and advocacy strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to lead across functions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and vision for the Newsroom and support operations.
• Oversee content review and enterprise news content creation.
• Advance external communications with AI-driven storytelling and targeting.
• Coordinate daily media ops, analysis, and insights for decisions.
• Provide operational leadership across the Center of Practice.
• Collaborate with Legislative Affairs on advocacy prioritization and timing.
• Develop targeted materials for Hill/state-based advocacy efforts.
• Manage relationships with senior customers and congressional stakeholders.
• Mentor a team of public affairs and media operations specialists.
• Oversee tools supporting advocacy strategies and dashboards.
• Contribute to sponsorship and thought leadership initiatives.
