Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

As a Sr. Manager, you will be part of the Digital Service Technology Engineering team and will be responsible for the overall delivery of solutions and software for our Online Banking platform, including design, technology insertion, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment. You'll work collaboratively with implementation partners and technology stakeholders to drive change in the most effective way possible, leading project planning and execution through agile methodologies. You'll manage and grow a team of developers and quality engineers, guiding them in developing and delivering new features for the client-facing banking application platform built on React, Node, Java/Springboot.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach a team of software engineers and quality assurance engineers on best practices, system design principles, and industry trends.
• Champion application development security best practices across all engineering efforts.
• Build authentic relationships with the team and business partners to empower long-term collaborations and successful business outcomes.
• Anticipate customer needs and focus work processes on customer satisfaction.
• Motivate, retain, and develop key staff; promote career development of team members.
• Lead, influence, and develop peers to achieve project goals.
• Handle ambiguity and function effectively in a matrix organization.
• Empower teams to innovate and create an agile environment that supports change.
• Exhibit a proactive attitude to 'make it happen' and 'find a way'.
• Manage administrative duties associated with leading a team of several direct reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in applications development, analysis, or engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in the same fields.

• Experience in software delivery management: analysis, design, estimating, and implementing architectures.
• Strong understanding of design principles, scalable data modeling, secure coding, and quality standards.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with operational support processes and project management tools.
• Ability to create clear presentations and communications.

Technology Experience

• Recent experience with Microservices and platform engineering.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, privileged access management, DevOps, and deployment automation.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, APIs, Microservices, React, Node.js, Springboot, Kafka, cloud migration, AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, databases, enterprise integration, and SaaS/PaaS solutions.

This job posting is expected to remain active for 45 days. The base pay ranges from $150,000 to $205,000, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits are part of the total rewards package.
