Role Overview

As Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Engineering & Operations Embedded, you will lead the team responsible for IT solutions supporting RWE Clean Energy's Engineering and Operations. Your responsibilities include developing and managing in-house IT products and COTS applications, serving as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders, and defining the technological strategy for Engineering & Operations. You will oversee a team of experts, promote Agile practices, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the Engineering & Operations Embedded team, managing product development and operations.
2. Act as the domain solution architect, working with stakeholders and technologists to craft and implement tech strategies.
3. Guide a team using Agile methodologies to develop products and manage applications.
4. Participate in Agile sprints, contributing to product development roadmaps.
5. Enhance collaboration across teams, including external partners, to support application development and operations.
6. Implement DevOps practices and manage the transition for applications.
7. Reduce technical debt and ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance with security standards.
8. Support modernization efforts of the product portfolio leveraging modern technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, CSDP are a plus.
• At least 12 years of experience in IT solutions and digital innovation, with leadership experience.
• Experience managing platform solutions in large energy or utility companies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), DevOps, and agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in an office environment.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $128,000 - $190,000 annually in NY and Chicago, based on experience and qualifications.
