Role Overview

As Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Development & Construction Embedded, you will lead the team responsible for IT solutions supporting RWE Clean Energy's Development and (Pre-)Construction business areas. Your responsibilities include developing and managing in-house IT products and COTS applications, serving as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders, and defining the technology strategy for Development & Construction. You will lead a team of experts using Agile practices to develop products and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the Development & Construction Embedded team, overseeing the development and operations of IT products and COTS applications.
2. Act as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders and technologists to define and implement the tech strategy.
3. Manage a team of technical experts in product development and application management using Agile practices.
4. Contribute to technical development during Agile sprints and manage product roadmaps.
5. Foster collaboration across teams, including business stakeholders, IT/OT departments, and external partners.
6. Drive transition to DevOps methodologies and manage application lifecycle and compliance.
7. Reduce technical debt and ensure high availability, reliability, and security standards.
8. Support modernization and optimization of the product portfolio, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, CSDP) are preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT solutions and digital innovation, including leadership roles.
• Experience managing platform solutions in large energy or utility companies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), DevOps, and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in an office setting as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $128,000 - $190,000 annually, based on experience and location.
