Job Description

OneWell is seeking an execution-focused Senior Manager for Investment and Client Service Operations to oversee and optimize the firm's operational infrastructure. This pivotal role will serve as the backbone of our day-to-day processes, ensuring a seamless delivery of services to both clients and advisors. The ideal candidate is technology-forward, process-driven, and brings deep experience in the RIA space combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

One Oak serves as an Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) providing institutional-grade investment management expertise to organizations seeking sustainable growth for their endowments and foundations, often lacking internal resources to manage complex portfolios.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Operations & Reporting: Oversee all client billing processes, manage reporting workflows, coordinate account and portfolio reconciliation, and handle alternative data management.
  • Process Optimization & Client Experience: Design and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction; execute technology strategies and lead training programs.
  • Risk, Compliance & Financial Oversight: Ensure regulatory compliance, prepare financial reports, manage insurance and licensing requirements.
  • Vendor & Human Capital Administration: Manage relationships with vendors, oversee payroll, benefits, onboarding, and maintain job descriptions.
  • Firm-Wide Policy & Procedure Management: Stewardship of policies, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must reside in Washington DC metro or Princeton/Central NJ area due to in-office requirement.
  • 5-7+ years in operational leadership within an RIA or wealth management setting.
  • Strong command of RIA-specific technology platforms (e.g., Adyzon, Schwab Advisor Center) and a forward-thinking approach to technology adoption.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and refine operational processes focusing on efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with SEC and FINRA regulations governing RIAs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or related; advanced certifications (CFP, CFA, Series 65) are a plus.
  • Attributes include being detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, solutions-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
