Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to drive Infrastructure Operations and Security & Compliance across a global footprint. You will own end-to-end decommissioning workflows, manage cross-team SLAs, and ensure audit readiness for SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and FedRAMP.

You will oversee 24x7 incident response coordination, vendor relationships, and initiatives to automate operations, streamline evidence collection, and improve overall efficiency.

Job description

• Lead the Operations team and the Security and Compliance team
• Set goals, develop talent, and build a culture of operational excellence and compliance consciousness
• Hold both teams to shared SLAs and quality standards across 24x7 incident response and compliance audit cycles
• Serve as escalation point for cross-team issues, complex vendor negotiations, and operational or regulatory decisions
• Own the end-to-end decommissioning workflow, including physical collections, unracking, secure asset destruction, chain-of-destruction issuance, serial number verification, compliance evidence filing, and records closure
• Eliminate handoff gaps by building a single auditable decommissioning pipeline
• Drive ITAD vendor relationships, escalation paths, and contractual SLAs across APAC, EMEA, NASA, and South America
• Maintain audit readiness for SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and FedRAMP requirements
• Ensure 24x7 incident response coverage across Cloudflare locations
• Oversee hardware break-fix operations with technicians, repair vendors, and remote contractors
• Drive maturity in circuit decommissioning, RMA management, and physical collections
• Ensure on-call schedules, handover protocols, and incident SLAs are met across regional shifts
• Own access review cycles across 750+ global data center sites
• Own physical access provisioning and deprovisioning, including SLA adherence and ACL integrity
• Serve as senior owner of automation initiatives
• Maintain executive relationships with GRC leads and represent DCSC in audit conversations, Monthly Business Reviews, and infrastructure health checks
• Reduce manual operational burden through automation in access reviews, evidence collection, portal data extraction, and incident triage
• Sponsor internal tooling, automation scripts, and AI-assisted workflows
• Evaluate and adopt AI tooling for repetitive operations, documentation, root-cause analysis, and compliance evidence generation
• Report to the Director, Infrastructure Operations (AMER)

Requirements

• 7+ years in infrastructure operations, data center operations, network operations, or a closely related field
• At least 3 years in a people management role
• Demonstrated experience managing managers and holding multiple teams accountable to operational SLAs simultaneously
• Direct experience with physical data center operations, including hardware lifecycle management, decommissioning, colocation vendor management, or break-fix operations
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or equivalent compliance frameworks at an operational level
• Strong program management experience across complex, multi-workstream initiatives with dependencies across teams, vendors, and time zones
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency through process redesign or automation adoption
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: experience managing 24x7 on-call operations teams, including PagerDuty or equivalent tooling and incident escalation frameworks
• Preferred: familiarity with network infrastructure concepts, including circuit management, cross-connect decommissioning, and network operations
• Preferred: experience with physical access control systems, access control list management, or vendor portal administration at scale
• Preferred: knowledge of ITAD vendor management and secure destruction compliance requirements
• Preferred: background in a rapidly scaling global infrastructure environment
• Preferred: experience driving SSO or identity federation projects across large third-party vendor ecosystems
• Preferred: familiarity with Jira-based workflows, NetBox or similar DCIM tools, and Confluence documentation practices
• Ability to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws without sponsorship for an export license, if required
