Job summary

TalentHop is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure to lead a team responsible for building and maintaining a scalable and compliant infrastructure platform. You will drive reliability, security, and AI-enabled improvements across our cloud environment.

You will partner with security, data, and product teams to align priorities, manage multi-account AWS setups, and guide engineers through complex deployments. This role requires strong leadership and hands‑on engineering expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams with delivery accountability.
• Extensive AWS experience including multi-account setups.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, especially EKS.
• Experience with CI/CD across multiple services.
• HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 1 or 2, or PCI experience.
• Strong backlog management and stakeholder comms.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of infrastructure engineers.
• Oversee infrastructure backlog, prioritizing and ensuring delivery.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, data, and product teams on priorities.
• Manage AWS environments, EKS clusters, and GitOps deployment via Argo CD.
• Write and review infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, and pipelines.
• Maintain the CI/CD platform supporting service deployment.
• Manage managed data infrastructure including Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and data warehouse.
• Integrate security and compliance controls, supporting audits and reviews.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and observability of the platform.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and lead incident response.

About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR MANAGER, INFRASTRUCTURE leads a team responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure platform that supports all products of the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of the platform handling protected health information. It combines leadership with hands‑on engineering, setting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and advancing the use of AI tools within infrastructure workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of infrastructure engineers
• Oversee infrastructure backlog, prioritizing and ensuring delivery
• Collaborate with security, compliance, data, and product teams on priorities
• Manage AWS environments, EKS clusters, and GitOps deployment via Argo CD
• Write and review infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, and pipelines
• Maintain the CI/CD platform supporting service deployment
• Manage managed data infrastructure including Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and data warehouse

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
• At least 2 years managing engineering teams with delivery accountability
• Extensive AWS expertise including multi‑account setups, networking, IAM
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, especially Amazon EKS
• Solid experience with Terraform including reusable modules and state management
• Skilled in building and managing CI/CD across multiple services
• Proficient in at least one programming language: TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 1 or 2, or PCI
• Strong backlog management and stakeholder communication skills
• Clear written communication abilities

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $160,000 - $220,000 annually, plus bonus and equity
• Compensation varies by geographic location, experience, and qualifications
