Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong ownership mindset and experience building operational maturity and scalable systems.
• Experience across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, developer tooling, and data infrastructure.
• Familiar with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own secure, scalable cloud infra using IaC and modular patterns.
• Own and improve data infra (PostgreSQL, RDS/Aurora, Snowflake) with HA, backups, DR.
• Build a self-service developer platform including CI/CD and local environments.
• Establish observability standards with Datadog (monitoring, alerts, tracing).
• Raise engineering standards for maintainability, security, and code quality.
• Partner with product teams to turn engineering friction into platform capabilities with HIPAA/SOC 2 security.
• Develop AI-native capabilities using Claude Code to design, review, and operate systems.
• Stay current with emerging tech to improve platform efficiency.

Job Description

Seeking a SeniorInfrastructure Engineer to own and scale our cloud platform, developer tooling,and data infrastructure. In this hands-on IC role, you will set standards forreliability, security, and performance across healthcare products serving enterprisephysician groups.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and own secure, scalable cloudinfrastructure using IaC, reusable modules, and paved-road patterns.
• Own and improve our data infrastructure, includingPostgres, RDS/Aurora, and Snowflake, with a focus on reliability, HA,backups, disaster recovery, and migrations.
• Build and maintain a self-service developer platform,including CI/CD, testing, and local and essential environments that enableteams to ship quickly and safely.
• Establish observability standards with Datadog,including monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
• Raise engineering standards around maintainability,performance, reliability, code quality, and security through standards,code review, and mentorship.
• Partner with product teams to turn engineeringfriction into platform capabilities while strengthening security in aHIPAA and SOC 2 environment, including IAM, network security, and PHIhandling.
• Develop AI-natively, using tools like Claude Code todesign, build, review, and operate systems with strong judgment aroundvalidation and oversight.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and identifyopportunities to improve platform capabilities and operational efficiency.

Who You Are

• 6+ years of software engineering experience,including 3+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloudinfrastructure.
• Strong ownership mindset, with experience buildingoperational maturity, standards, and scalable systems rather than simplymaintaining existing infrastructure.
• Comfortable working across cloud infrastructure,CI/CD, developer tooling, data infrastructure, and application support.
• Strong experience with:

• AWS, including Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions, andrelated services
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Python 3
• Postgres (RDS/Aurora) and DynamoDB, including HA,backups, disaster recovery, and migrations
• Snowflake or a similar cloud data platform
• Docker and containerized workflows
• Workflow orchestration tools, particularly Temporal(also Airflow or similar). - Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 complianceprocesses.
• Datadog for monitoring, alerting, and tracing
• GitHub and CI/CD, including GitHub Actions
• Experience working in a regulated environment such ashealthcare or finance, with an understanding of security and sensitivedata requirements.

A reasonable, good faith The anticipated base paycompensation range for this position is$190,000.00 to$210,00.00 per year as base
