Base pay range

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in security, you will design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure that ensures high availability, performance, and compliance across web and mobile applications. You will focus on hardening systems, configuring security tools, and automating monitoring and alerting to protect critical assets. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will identify potential risks, implement security best practices, and ensure that infrastructure services are reliable, resilient, and scalable. This role requires deep expertise in AWS, containerization, scripting, and cloud security services, while also providing opportunities to mentor engineers and influence technical strategy. Your work will directly impact the security posture and operational excellence of core systems across the organization.

Accountabilities

• Build, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using ECS/EKS Fargate and automation tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Implement security measures, including AWS Config, Inspector, Shield, and alerting systems across infrastructure domains
• Monitor and analyze system performance and vulnerabilities, identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy new features and enhance existing systems
• Mentor and support engineers in security best practices and infrastructure operations
• Stay updated on emerging infrastructure and security technologies to improve system resilience and compliance

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with AWS networking, databases, cloud storage, and security services
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using ECS/EKS Fargate
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby for automation and operational tasks
• Experience configuring and maintaining security alerting, monitoring, and compliance across infrastructure
• Ability to analyze complex systems and design solutions for scalability, performance, and security
• Excellent collaboration, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Must reside permanently in the United States and be legally authorized to work
