Job summary

The University of California, Office of the President, Riverside-based UCPath Center seeks an Information Systems Manager 2 to lead enterprise access governance, IAM controls, and cybersecurity initiatives. This hybrid role partners with IT and compliance teams to align policies with Zero Trust, least privilege, and UC standards.

Responsibilities include managing access to systems, conducting annual reviews, and guiding strategic cybersecurity improvements while promoting awareness and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Min 10 years management experience in IAM and Cyber Security or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts (Least Privilege, Privileged Access, RBAC).
• Experience leading multi-location projects across IT divisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Access Management, including governance structure, plans, and least-privilege enforcement.
• Lead annual reviews of segregation of duties and privileged access, and ensure proper access documentation.
• Serve as operational cybersecurity leader coordinating reviews, incident response, and cyber risk management.
• Provide leadership for strategic roadmap and cross-functional teams.
