Job summary

CHAOS Industries in California seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Identity & Access Management. You will own the IdP, IAM, PAM, PIM, and Secrets Management stack to meet CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, and ITAR requirements, while ensuring usability.

You will collaborate with security operations, IT, and compliance to translate policy into scalable access controls from onboarding to offboarding, in a hands-on role shaping future identity architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Hands-on IAM experience in production environments.
• Experience designing authentication policies and deploying phishing-resistant MFA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain identity architecture and RBAC across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Own and automate the joiner/mover/leaver process across identity and cloud platforms.
• Design and tune authentication policies and MFA, ensure device compliance.
• Develop identity-focused detections within SIEM/EDR/SOAR and support SOC investigations.
• Operate privileged identity management and PAWs; manage privileged access reviews.
• Manage SaaS and internal apps integration via SSO (SAML/OIDC) and SCIM.
