Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner for Marketing & Creative to shape employee experience and drive business outcomes from our New York City office.

You will partner with senior leaders, manage full-cycle hiring, design org structures, develop leadership programs, and champion our culture while leveraging AI tools like Claude to analyze data and draft communications.

Some travel to Needham, MA up to 10% may be required as part of coordinating across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
• Fluency with Claude or similar AI tools, or ability to learn quickly and apply them to HR work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing leaders as HR business partner for NYC team.
• Serve as primary contact for benefits, payroll, training for NYC team.
• Maintain NYC employee records and ensure compliant documentation.
• Oversee full hiring lifecycle: requisitions, interviews, offers, onboarding.
• Design org structures and change management plans across the business.
• Develop training and leadership development programs for NYC/Boston teams.
• Advise senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Lead HR initiatives: performance management, engagement, succession planning.
• Collaborate with COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Champion SharkNinja culture and inclusive employee experience.
• Leverage Claude and AI tools to analyze HR data and draft communications.

Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, Marketing & Creative

As a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and driving business outcomes through HR leadership for our Marketing & Creative team members. You will partner closely with business leaders in our New York City office to align people plans with organizational goals, build a high-performance culture, and support talent development in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You will also help our teams use AI tools in their everyday work, so you will be expected to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Marketing leaders as their HR partner
• Serve as the main point of contact for NYC team members on questions about benefits, payroll, training, and other HR topics.
• Maintain employee records for the NYC office, including ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and records are filed and retained in line with records retention requirements.
• Manage the full team member hiring experience, including creating requisitions, serving on interview panels, preparing offer letters, and conducting new hire orientations.
• Build organizational design models and change management plans that keep team structures effective across the business.
• Design and deliver training and development programs for NYC or Boston team members, identifying solutions for specific team needs and building leadership skills.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Lead and execute HR initiatives that support business objectives, including performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning.
• Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs), the HR teams focused on Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards, to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Champion SharkNinja's culture and values, ensuring a consistent and inclusive employee experience.
• Use Claude and other AI tools to analyze HR data, draft communications and materials, and streamline routine work, and share practical approaches with colleagues.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Support change management and organizational transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic HR business partner role.
• Fluency with Claude or other AI tools, or a demonstrated ability to learn them quickly and apply them to HR work.
• Strong ability to learn new tools, processes, and ways of working as the business evolves.
• Growth mindset, with a desire to solve problems and keep improving.
• Excellent attention to detail and a highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior leaders.
• Ability to manage both tactical and strategic work, moving with speed to execute on critical priorities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to be an active part of the NYC team, bringing energy and a collaborative presence to in-office work.
• Experience in a high-growth, matrixed (a structure where people report to more than one leader), or global organization is a strong asset.
• Ability to travel to Needham, MA as needed, up to 10% of the time.
