Job description

We're hiring on behalf of a top-growing organization in the sports & entertainment space — an employer with a national platform, a mission-driven culture, and a serious commitment to building an inclusive, high-performing workplace.

This is a strategic, consultative HR role. You'll sit at the intersection of executive leadership and the broader workforce, advising on talent strategy, employee relations, and compliance across multiple client environments. If you enjoy walking into different corporate cultures, diagnosing what's really going on, and building the frameworks that fix it, this one will keep you engaged.

What You'll Own
  • Strategic Advising — Partner with leadership to translate business objectives into actionable workforce and talent strategies.
  • Employee Relations — Coach managers through performance, engagement, and disciplinary matters; investigate and resolve workplace conflicts objectively.
  • Compliance & Risk — Stay ahead of FMLA, FLSA, ADA and state-level requirements; ensure policies and procedures minimize legal exposure.
  • Performance & Talent Management — Design performance frameworks, build career pathways, and identify high-potential talent for succession planning.
  • Policy Development — Create and refine employee handbooks and HR operating procedures tailored to each environment.
  • Change Management — Guide organizations through mergers, restructuring, downsizing, or rapid scaling with minimal impact on morale.
  • People Analytics — Use turnover signals, engagement scores, and HRIS data to diagnose systemic issues and drive informed decisions.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5–7+ years as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or in a comparable senior HR role
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
  • Demonstrable command of federal, state, and local labor law — California labor law experience is required
  • Proven ability to influence and build trust with C-suite executives and people managers
  • Comfort with HRIS platforms and translating HR metrics into business solutions
  • Adaptability to move fluidly between different corporate cultures and client environments
Why This Role

High visibility, high impact, and real influence over HR best practices at an organization with national reach. You'll work on projects that shape culture rather than just administer it — with genuine room to grow.
