NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Manager of Pastoral Care, Board Certified Chaplain, to lead the day-to-day operations of Spiritual Care and hospitality services.

The role requires a BA and M.Div., ACPE education, 3–5 years in healthcare ministry, and certification by APC/NACC/ACPE. You will oversee program development, research, education, compliance, budget, and interfaith outreach to patients, families, and staff.

Formación

• B.A. and M.Div. degrees (or equivalent masters level degree from accredited seminary/graduate prof. school)
• Minimum 4 units of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education.
• 3-5 years full-time experience in healthcare ministry
• APC, NACC, NAJC, or ACPE certified;Ecclesiastical endorsement from recognized denomination

Responsabilidades

• Design and manage a systemic, multi-staff model for pastoral/spiritual care and education.
• Support ongoing education for staff focused on contemporary chaplaincy.
• Encourage research to benchmark staffing and promote quality improvements.
• Coordinate education and whole-person care for staff, students, clergy and volunteers.
• Monitor outcomes of pastoral care in collaboration with caregivers.
• Oversee budget, resources and department oversight for pastoral care.
• Ensure compliance with APC, NACC, ACPE, JCAHO and related standards.
• Promote interfaith worship and inclusive spiritual care across the system.
