Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Manager of Pastoral Care, Required Board Certified Chaplain, to lead the day-to-day Spirtual Care operations and hospitality services. You will coordinate services with departments and support the Director.

The role requires 4 ACPE-credited CPCE units, M.Div. or equivalent, and APC/NACC/NAJC/ACPE certification. You will supervise volunteers and ensure compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Master of Divinity (or equivalent master's degree) from an accredited institution.
• ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (4 units) required.
• Ecclesiastical endorsement from a recognized denomination; APC/NACC/NAJC/ACPE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage a systemic, multi-staff pastoral/spiritual care program.
• Oversee staff education and clinical pastoral education standards.
• Drive research to improve pastoral care quality and effectiveness.
• Lead budgetary and resource stewardship for the Department of Pastoral Care.
