Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Manager to lead a Hardware/Electrical Procurement team within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS). You will manage supplier relations, drive strategic sourcing, and oversee the full PO lifecycle for U.S.

DoD, FMS, and DCS programs. Responsibilities include negotiating terms, performing cost analyses, and aligning cross-functional teams to program goals while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in procurement or an advanced degree with 7+ years
• Experience in procurement, supply chain management, and leadership roles
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations required
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and experience with government contracts

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ and RFP preparation and issuance
• Oversee high-volume, medium-complexity purchase orders per FAR/DFARS
• Support/lead negotiation strategies and formal negotiations (price, delivery, terms)
• Ensure price and cost analyses support proposals
• Nurture relationships with top-tier subcontractors
• Collaborate with programs and other functions to meet objectives
• Manage metrics to analyze data for supplier delivery and requisition accuracy
• Guide negotiations, supplier escalations, and major contractual decisions
• Address supplier performance gaps and ensure accountability for service and quality
