Job summary

Apptronik, a human-centered robotics company, is building Apollo’s nervous system to enable robust data flow from high-bandwidth sensors to control systems and cloud telematics. You will lead hardware connectivity efforts to ensure reliable signaling across joints and enclosures, driving successful implementations in a rapidly evolving robotics platform.

The role demands seasoned leadership, deep hardware expertise, and a hands-on approach to schematics and layout reviews, while collaborating

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience in hardware design.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience.
• Deep technical background in at least two areas: RF, wiring/harness, EMI/EMC, or high‑speed signaling.
• Ability to balance thermal, mechanical, and electrical constraints in hardware.
• Hands-on leadership with ability to review schematics and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of electrical, RF, and interconnect engineers.
• Oversee internal network architecture across the robot body.
• Guide wireless data links including Wi-Fi, Cellular, BT.
• Own wire harnessing and flex-PCBs across joints.
• Define grounding, shielding, and EMI plans.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Software teams for integration.
