We are looking for a sharp, experienced Senior Manager of Growth and Product Analysis to support strategic growth projects with a global leader in digital health and medical devices. As part of the global Incubation & Growth team, the focus of this role is to help identify new business and product opportunities, to conduct business due diligence on potential partners or M&A targets, conduct analysis on new technology and product concepts, and to help drive the implementation and execution of key initiatives.

Location: San Diego area with a flexible work-from-home policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business leads to develop and document business and product growth strategies, identifying attractive new business areas and market segments with a clear rationale.
• Evaluate potential acquisition targets by conducting business and financial due diligence, including financial modeling, profitability analysis, and ROIC assessments.
• Conduct market research, technology research, competitive landscape analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform strategic decisions. Includes reviewing clinical and medical research reports and talking to key opinion leaders and subject matter experts.
• Create high-quality executive-level slide decks and reports that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and strategic narratives.
• Build and refine financial models to assess business cases and investment opportunities.
• This role is an individual contributor position

Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, product strategy, or a related field.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, business analysis, and strategic thinking. Able to synthesize complex pieces of information into a clear thought process, and generate insights and original points of view.
• Familiarity and proficiency with the product ideation, discovery and product management and development process. Experience in launching and growing new products is highly regarded.
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with a proven ability to produce compelling presentations and sides
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, handle ambiguity and challenges of imperfect or incomplete information, self-manage their work and time, and ensure that deliverables for themselves and from key partners will meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with high standards and high quality error-free deliverables
• Experience and interest in healthcare, medtech, or digital health sectors is a strong plus and highly preferred.
• Education degree in a bio-medical, bio-engineering or STEM related field is a plus but not required.

This is a hybrid, remote and onsite opportunity with ability to work from home. Ability to support evening video-based meetings as well as in-office meetings at our San Diego location is required. At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position in the United Statesis:$175,000 - $219,000 USD.
